Smart is the same choreographer who has earlier choreographed her 2014 VMA performance on ‘Anaconda.’

Apart from this, this is the rapper’s second time hosting the VMAs in two years. Last year, the rapper shared the stage with Jack Harlow and LL Cool J, which everyone seemed to love. And this too, Minaj seems to be all set to take on the dual role. Apart from her, artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, Meghan Thee Stallion, Karol G, and Shakira will be shaking up the stage of the VMAs with their mesmerizing performances.

While the soundtrack sampled Aqua’s 1997 ‘Barbie Girl’, Nicki Minaj brought back an age-old classic and left her spin on it.
