Minaj is clearly going to juggle two roles together this year, both as a performer and as an emcee. Smart is the same choreographer who has earlier choreographed her 2014 VMA performance on &#8216;Anaconda.&#8217;

Apart from this, this is the rapper&#8217;s second time hosting the VMAs in two years. Last year, the rapper shared the stage with Jack Harlow and LL Cool J, which everyone seemed to love. The song was released as part of the film&#8217;s promotion, and it even drew attention to the film, which has now become a global success with $1.34 billion at the box office. While the soundtrack sampled Aqua&#8217;s 1997 &#8216;Barbie Girl&#8217;, Nicki Minaj brought back an age-old classic and left her spin on it. And fans have the right to expect the same from her performance on the 12th of September.
