After months of delaying, Kanye West’s ‘Vultures’ album finally came online. However, it was only the first part of a three-part series. While the Ty Dolla $ign collaboration took over the world, it looks like the project has done extremely well just a day after it was released. Although fans of Ye had lost hope that the album would wind up being released, its much-awaited drop has completely captivated the world.

Now, a little over a day after the album was released on Spotify, it looks like Ye’s hard work has paid off with the amount of streams the album got in just 24 hours.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that Kanye West’s ‘Vultures 1’ had pulled in 65 million Spotify streams in just 24 hours. The streams make this album the biggest opening day ever for an independent release. While the rapper seems to have proved that he still has what it takes to be a creative, lyrical genius, there was a moment when his fans thought that the album was being scrapped.

Although the rapper had announced his album back in December, it kept running into unforeseen delays. From not being able to find a distributor to working on tweaking the album, the 46-year-old had various reasons to chuck the project to the side and focus on Yeezy. Thankfully, that was not what ended up happening, and the world got the first installment of Ye’s ‘Vultures’ trilogy.
