After Being Delayed, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vulture 1’ Breaks a Spotify Streaming Expectation
After months of delaying, Kanye West’s ‘Vultures’ album finally came online. However, it was only the first part of a three-part series. While the Ty Dolla $ign collaboration took over the world, it looks like the project has done extremely well just a day after it was released. Although fans of Ye had lost hope that the album would wind up being released, its much-awaited drop has completely captivated the world.
Now, a little over a day after the album was released on Spotify, it looks like Ye’s hard work has paid off with the amount of streams the album got in just 24 hours.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that Kanye West’s ‘Vultures 1’ had pulled in 65 million Spotify streams in just 24 hours. The streams make this album the biggest opening day ever for an independent release. While the rapper seems to have proved that he still has what it takes to be a creative, lyrical genius, there was a moment when his fans thought that the album was being scrapped.
Although the rapper had announced his album back in December, it kept running into unforeseen delays. From not being able to find a distributor to working on tweaking the album, the 46-year-old had various reasons to chuck the project to the side and focus on Yeezy. Thankfully, that was not what ended up happening, and the world got the first installment of Ye’s ‘Vultures’ trilogy.
With the rapper’s ‘Vulture 1’ already working its way up on the charts, the father of four seems ready to bring more attention to his work after rumors of a world tour made its way online.
Kanye West’s ‘Vultures’ world tour
Just days ahead of his ‘Vultures’ listening party in Chicago and the release of his album, Kanye West surprised his fans by hinting at a world tour. In a now-deleted post to his stories on Instagram, the rapper shared a snap of a list of places along with dates. In his list, Ye included possible venues in places such as the United States, UK, Kenya, Japan, Australia, and more.

The news of a full-blown world tour comes after West revealed that he was having trouble booking concert arenas because of his past controversial behavior. Fans might have to wait for a bit before they find out anything else about the world tour. However, it might not end up happening as it has been nearly a decade since the artist went on such a tour.
