Taylor Swift’s albums have never escaped accusations of referencing her romantic entanglements, and ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ was no different. As soon as the album hit the waves, three names popped up: Joe Alwyn, Travis Kelce, and Matty Healy. Of these, only the latter has seemed to directly respond to the alleged nods. While he initially put forth a nonchalant response to the album, it now seems to have become a subject of amusement for him.

After some shocking alleged reactions from Matty Healy came to light weeks after the release of ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, the musician has made another huge announcement. 

One of Matty Healy’s friends revealed to US Weekly earlier this month that the 35-year-old is enjoying the “attention” Taylor Swift’s latest album has brought him. However, he also finds the claims made about him in the lyrical content “hilarious,” as he and the pop sensation were never “serious.” Turns out, Healy is dead serious about model Gabbriette Bechtel though, as they recently announced their engagement. The model recently shared a streak of Instagram stories, making the big reveal. "MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY BRAT", captioned Bechtel.

Although there has not been any confirmation of whether Taylor Swift's album really throws shade at Matty Healy or not, fans are convinced that 'But Daddy I Love Him,' 'Down Bad,' and the titular track from ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ are about him. Nonetheless, Healy's responses prove that, contrary to his earlier statements, he has, in fact, been all ears to Swift's tracks, playing them on repeat to sift through the alleged false claims made in the lyrics. But for now, the musician has sealed the deal with Bechtel.

Meanwhile, there are speculations of marriage brewing for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as well. Recently, an insider spilled the beans on the couple’s thoughts about the same.

And it seems no amount of pressure will make the couple hurry things along, whether it is demands from fans or exes tying the knot.
