Ever since Elon Musk took control of X, formerly known as Twitter, there has been a lot of chaos. Activists have been skeptical about how the controversial policies and layoffs can negatively impact social movements. On the other hand, users have been complaining about the technical glitches lingering on the platform. However, the SpaceX CEO has now begun to casually throw ideas around to make his platform surpass others. 

As the ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ is around the corner, Taylor Swift took to X to share a sneak peek with her fans about the album. Musk took this opportunity to share a piece of surprising advice with the VMA queen.  

Elon Musk’s advice to Taylor Swift

Fans have been waiting for the ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’, ever since the star announced it on the last night of the US leg of the Eras tour. While fans were busy solving Swift’s puzzle on Google, the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer shared back covers and vault track titles for the upcoming album. She captioned the post saying “…I can’t wait for this one to be out, seriously”. The post caught the X owner’s attention, and he went on to respond to it with a recommendation of posting music or concert videos directly on the X platform. 

The 52-year-old wrote, “I recommend posting some music or concert videos directly on the X platform”. This response was not very surprising as the owner has been covering all the bases to bring engagement to the platform. However, it is almost impossible to get the attention of the 33-year-old on X, as she does not follow anyone on the platform. Fans also took a jab at the former chairman of Tesla, saying that he should pay the X fan pages more for keeping the buzz alive on his platform. 

However, this was not the only time the Boring Company owner made an effort to catch the ‘Lover’ artist’s eye. 

Elon Musk’s tweets for the VMA queen

Musk was already on the radar of Swift’s fandom, owing to his decade-old friendship with West. Even during the controversial spree of tweets from Kanye West, Musk had Ye back on the platform. However, Ye’s questionable posts once again resulted in a ban, despite his friend being the owner of the platform. However, what enraged fans were Musk’s response to a collage of photos that Swift had posted from her opening night of the Eras Tour.

Dogecoin creator, Billy Markus, started a thread tweeting, “Taylor Swift rules and if you disagree you’ll be kicked off the internet I’m pretty sure”, which caught the attention of the richest person in the world. Musk replied to the tweet saying, “Her limbic resonance skill is exceptional”, later sharing an emoji of a burning cigarette to Swift’s photo collage. This response did not sit well with the Swifties and they bashed Musk for his disrespectful comments about the ‘Red’ creator.
