Adidas to Resume Selling Yeezy Products Again? Latest Report Suggests That the Brand Will Rekindle Their Relationship With Kanye West
2022 was perhaps one of the most life-changing years morally and even financially for Kanye West. Ye is a creative genius, but at the same time is also an eccentric and unpredictable individual. Shortly after his anti-Semitic comments, the Flashing Lights hitmaker went through a major financial loss as he lost a billion-dollar deal with Adidas. It was the end of one of the most iconic celebrity brand ties up. However, months after parting ways, it seems like Ye and the German sports brand are finally back in business.
People are no strangers to the aftermath of the fallout between Adidas and West. Both brand and the rapper had to go through huge financial losses. Surprising as it sounds, Adidas nearly has $1.3 billion of unsold Yeezy Inventory. With several losses in the current financial year, the brand has finally rekindled its relationship with Ye to some extent. As per reports by HypeBeast, the brand and Ye are officially back after terminating their deal back in October. The report further suggests that Adidas will start selling YEEZY products yet again. Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning rapper would also pocket some of the profits. Apparently, 15 percent of every income generated from the sale of Yeezy products will end up in West’s pockets.

The latest reports further stated that a portion of the sale proceeds will also be transferred to international charities. Interestingly, all these organizations will be those that Ye offended with his anti-Semitic comments.
As of late, the unsold stock of Yeezy merchandise worth nearly $1.3 billion sits in Adidas warehouses. And safe to assume, after rekindling their relationship with Ye, we might see the Adidas sales flourish again.
