In the 50th year of hip-hop, a whole new facade of the genre has come to the fore. Down the lines, what started as an experimental affair in the Bronx has become one of the most widely resonant sound themes on the planet. Among its latest greats, Kanye West finds a rightful place. The rapper, despite his controversies, has for long produced some of the finest tracks that have inspired a million hearts. That said, at times, even Ye has swept right past when it comes to swearing, something that stands rampant in many of his competing songs.

The master of rap recently released his first song in over a year with ‘Vultures’ dropping on November 17 on Chicago radio station Power 92.3. The catchy musical was also a lyrical powerhouse that not only addressed some of the most controversial statements Ye had made but also provided his stance on the same. Incidentally, it also marked the first time since 2019’s ‘Jesus Is King’ that the rapper dropped a swear word in a song.
Kanye West had made some personal commitments before releasing ‘Jesus Is King’: He had taken to releasing ‘Gospel music’ and clean versions of raps. Hence, even 2021’s ‘Donda’ was also devoid of any swears. It is also interesting to note that 2008’s ‘808s & Heartbreak’, an album endorsed by Michael Jackson, also lacked any swearing. Regardless, the latest collaboration alongside Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk, and Bump J. marks the first single release of ‘Y$’.
By all means there is still a lot left to be done as the singer and his team take to new places for production.

While initially marching through a slew of countries throughout the year before sticking to Italy, West is now once again on the move.
