This fan-made narrative was yet again seen recently as Lamar dropped his new album right in the middle of the buzz surrounding the newly released musical by Ariana Grande.

Kendrick Lamar and Ariana Grande have never really crossed paths, at least not in the beef department. In fact, they have never even worked together before. The two come from completely different musical worlds, but that has not stopped fans from sniffing out some potential drama between them. However, the timing of the drop, right after Ariana Grande’s 'Wicked' release, only fueled fans’ imaginations even more. Now, they are starting to think there might be "a new beef" brewing, especially after Lamar left Drake in the dust. Meanwhile, many fans were confident that Ariana Grande did not stand a chance against Kendrick Lamar.

There were, however, also some who criticized Lamar for what seemed like a strategic move, even going as far as to call him a "misogynist".

Ariana Grande’s more dynamic take on music with 'Wicked' has already been getting a lot of love.
