After almost 6 decades of being icons in the music industry, The Rolling Stones are making a comeback. The legacy that began back in the early 60s is being brought back to life. What started with a random music video earlier this year has now turned into a full-blown album that the band has been planning for a while. But with whole new generations that prefer a different vibe, the English rockers may have found a way around that. All they needed to do was to enlist the help of the Hollywood It girl, Sydney Sweeney.

Notably, all the members are well into their 70s and above now. However, they are no closer to giving up their rocker dreams. Shortly after dropping a Sweeney music video, the band announced that they would be dropping their first studio album in almost two decades.

The Rolling Stones are back with a new album

Although the rock band is ready to put out new music, the absence of their drummer, Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021, is being felt by the remaining trio. During a recent press conference, The Rolling Stones announced that they were going to be putting out their 24th studio album, ‘Hackney Diamonds’. In fact, to further their cause, the group also released an edited version of a song with Lady Gaga and the legendary Stevie Wonder called ‘Sweet Sounds Of Heaven’.

After nearly 20 years, the group decided they were not ready to hang up their instruments just yet. But that was not the biggest surprise they had in store. They promised that their new music would appeal to both their older fans and the younger generations. Frontman Mick Jagger and the iconic duo of Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood are set to influence a whole new generation of music lovers.

While musically they may have everything covered, they have already hooked the younger generations with their previous music video with Sydney Sweeney.

The Rolling Stones teamed up with Sydney Sweeney

Just last month, the band stunned the world with a new music video for their song, ‘Angry’. The video featured the Euphoria starlet, Sydney Sweeney, in complete rocker fashion. She could be seen riding in the back with the top down in a red convertible. In a complete leather outfit, the star really did look like a rocker herself. She even called the experience of working with the icons “the best thing ever.”

While even she believed it was just going to be a random single that they were releasing, the White Lotus star was floored when she realized that she helped them share the first song from their upcoming album. ‘Hackney Diamonds’ will be released no later than October 20, 2023.
