Kanye West is back in the music game with the release of his new track ‘Vultures’ on Wednesday. Fans have been highly anticipating the song, especially after the snippet drop last Friday, which caused a stir among his fans. The song initially premiered on a Chicago radio show last week, featuring a verse from Lil Durk, Ty Dolla $ign and Bump J. Oddly enough, the official version on streaming platforms seems to have missed the Lil Durk memo. This did not sit well with fans who expressed their disappointment all across the web.

A day after the official release of the song, however, Ye released another version of the song, which could potentially ease the dissatisfaction among fans.

The official release of ‘Vultures’ on streaming platforms did not have Lil Durk’s name mentioned in the credits, confirming the rumors about his verse removal. After the heavy backlash that fans showered upon the ‘Donda’ rapper, it seems that the rapper is set to release another version of ‘Vultures.’ This time, it will feature the much-anticipated verse of Lil Durk, as per the popular page NFR Podcast on X, formerly Twitter.

As per the page on X, the new release, dropping at midnight, is a censored version that is “out in EU already“. Before the release of the new version of ‘Vultures’, neither Kanye West nor Ty Dolla $ign shed light on the decision to omit Lil Durk’s verse from their newly–released track. This prompted Durk to share a cryptic post on his Instagram story, which was seemingly a reaction to the snub.

Therefore, the removal of his verse from the official release triggered an outpouring of disappointment on X, formerly Twitter. Durk’s cryptic post further added an extra layer of intrigue to the controversy. He took to Instagram to share a story that read “Be lucky I’m humble look at it as your blessing”.

The post could have also had a link to Lil Durk’s label if not a jab at Kanye West. After ‘Vultures’, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s official album is the next anticipated release. As $ign himself mentioned in a video on social media, the collaborated project is “coming real soon“. Kanye West has been reportedly staying in Saudi Arabia to put the finishing touches on the album, and just like the recent song, it can hit the airwaves at any moment!
