A Bianca Censori Pretender Takes Over Instagram With a Scam, Amidst Hype for Ye’s New Shoes Soars High
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has been hustling hard to grow his YZY brand as a fully independent venture. And fortunately, the line has been building a solid customer base too, thanks to its signature minimalist vibe and surprisingly affordable price tags—all hallmarks of Ye’s work. But while the rapper has repeatedly called out Adidas for allegedly ripping off his designs, the black market for counterfeit YZYs has been growing in leaps and bounds without any big-name involvement. And now, the scam game has hit a whole new level.
To cash in on YZY, scammers are now not just churning out knockoffs but also impersonating Bianca Censori to swindle unsuspecting fans.

Ye recently teased a new shoe design called the BL-01. It is an all-black sneaker that appears to be laceless. On his Instagram Stories, Ye referred to the kicks as “The Bullys,” a nod to his upcoming album. But it looks like scammers have been quicker on their feet than the official YZY collection's release. An Instagram user pretending to be Bianca Censori has been claiming to have the BL-01s in hand to scam people.
The scammer is selling the sneakers for a whopping $120. So far, there is no word on the official price or release date for the BL-01 sneakers, but many expect them to cost around $20, like most YZY products. Earlier this month, Ye released the YZY SLPRS SL-01 slip-ons for just $20 too. And reportedly, this collection has benefited him hugely in sales.
Ye recently claimed that in 24 hours selling Yeezy SLPR shoes, while also declaring his G.O.A.T. status.
Ye rakes in millions with his newest collection
Ye has been clearly, and quite vocally, trying to one-up Adidas in the sneaker business. And he might be getting closer to conquering the footwear fashion world again. Recently, within the first 24 hours of releasing his new YZY collection on the website, Ye has made $2,339,096 in sales. Ever since the release, even fans have been poking fun at the German sportswear giant on social media too.

The standout factor in Ye's collection is the highly affordable price. Ye has been working hard to make his brand more accessible and affordable, breaking away from the exclusivity and classism often associated with high-end fashion. So, anything with a hefty price tag claiming to be one of Ye’s creations should definitely raise a red flag.
