Having been a global superstar, Taylor Swift has grown a knack for leaving contemporaries in the dust. But with each passing day, the rule is becoming omnipresent in every arena that Swift takes a step forward. After the nail-biting Grammy hours, all eyes have fixated on the upcoming Super Bowl LIX, where Swift’s beau, Travis Kelce, is preparing headfirst to leave a mark so impressive that the NFL ground is painted red. But before that, Philadelphia radio station PST has prepared a Swift takedown.

As the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles ready themselves for Super Bowl 2025, 94.5 PST announced a Taylor Swift roadblock until after Sunday’s game. “We love you, Taylor. Just not THIS weekend,” the radio station wrote in support of the Birds, meaning there will be no Swift track to bless the Swifties all weekend till the Super Bowl. While it remains to be seen if this favors the Eagles’ defense, it sure seems like a cue for the Reds to double down on their winning strategy as the big night nears with every breath.

Super Bowl LIX is scheduled to kick off at 6.30 PM ET on February 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs is all set to go against the Philadelphia Eagles on the game night, and just like last year, Taylor Swift is speculated to cheer for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs, hoping 2024 repeats itself in 2025. However, with Philadelphia rolling up its sleeves to cancel Swift before the show-stopper, will the Taylor Swift effect ultimately leave its mark?
Though Taylor Swift’s presence at the games is still up in the air, Swifties are already a step forward in calculating what she could bring to the plate with her attendance.
Taylor Swift fans’ forecast about the upcoming Super Bowl
Taylor Swift fans often waste no minute putting on their detective hats whenever a Swift-sized Easter egg is dropped. Lately, however, their predictions have left the confines of music industry talks to NFL fields after the Kansas City Chiefs advanced to Super Bowl LIX. A fan recently took to X to reveal a jaw-dropping statistic: the singer has attended 22 Kansas City Chiefs games and 19 ended in victory—an 86.3% win rate with Swift in the stands.

Should the Chiefs clinch their Super Bowl title with Swift in attendance, the win rate would round out to a picture perfect 87%. However, this is hardly a coincidence because her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, wears jersey number 87 for the Reds. Hence, if the Chiefs paint the town in red this Sunday, it would be all written in the stars, and if destiny had the last laugh, surely a radio station roadblock would be as good as a child skipping fences.
