The new year started off on a sad note, as all of Hollywood was embroiled in a raging wildfire that resulted in the loss of several houses and displaced families. Despite having been a part of the catastrophe themselves, celebrities have shown up with full hearts and aiding hands in every way they can. Be it Meghan Markle and Prince Harry opening the doors of their house for shelters or the OTT Mogul Netflix holding a FireAid event with the greatest stars of all time: Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodriogo, and Lady Gaga, to name a few.

Despite getting all the big names on stage, the absence of the biggest pop star of the moment, arguably Taylor Swift, remained loud.

Taylor Swift has recently wrapped up her Eras Tour towards the end of last year, where she not only boosted the economy of almost every country she performed in but also made notable donations to those in need all around the world. Perhaps this is why Netflix's star-studded FireAid for the Los Angeles fire victims did not include Swift's name, as per the details on Netflix's Tudum FireAid page.

The event is being held on January 30 at 7 PM in order to raise funds for the victims and critical wildfire recovery and can also be streamed on YouTube. Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Tate McRae, and No Doubt, are stated as some of the few celebrities that will be gracing fans with their performances.

With how she crawls up every chart as if it were human nature to do so, it is pretty understandable that Taylor Swift does not like to come second. This spirit is maintained by Swift even when it comes to donations. The global pop star was among the first to put out  donations worth millions to several charities.

The singer had also posted a note stating all the charities that she had donated to, and the list had somewhere around ten names. That Swift went above and beyond to donate to several charities does not come as a surprise, as fans have witnessed the same grit by the singer towards charity and helping others throughout the Eras Tour.
