Fans were left shocked when they saw her going out for dinner with the Game of Thrones star. These outings have taken place years after the American superstar picked this beauty as the winner of the blockbuster show. When asked about the character who would end up on the Iron Throne, she instantly chose Sansa played by Turner saying she knows how to put on a brave face.

Now the duo has become so close through their love for the series, the ‘Lover’ singer has lent her home to the English actress amid her divorce from Joe Jones.

Page Six recently rolled out a report regarding the growing friendship between Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner. They got to know from their sources that the Grammy winner has loaned her NYC apartment to the 27-year-old. To make things easier during the messy divorce, she gave the place to the Emmy-nominated star and her daughters. On September 25, the court ordered Turner and Jonas to keep the kids in New York for the custody case.

So it seems the 33-year-old made things easier for her friend in tough times when her life was already upside down. During her stay, the outlet spotted her exploring nearby food spots. But on Wednesday, they captured Turner leaving the apartment with her kids and two large suitcases. Before this, the Another Me star was staying at a ritzy Midtown hotel with daughters Willa and Delphine.

This gesture of the ‘Midnights’ singer is indeed adoring, but many people might know that she has admired Turner since she starred in Game of Thrones.

The pop icon has always loved Turner 

Taylor Swift has never shied away from expressing her admiration for the fantasy drama Game of Thrones. She has stated in many interviews that the characters of the show have always inspired her. Among them, the one she found most powerful was Sansa Stark, who was indeed an example for women. The All Too Well producer showcased her love in 2021 for the character and the actress who played the role so amazingly.

After the release of the song ‘Mr. Perfectly Fine’, Sophie Turner took to her Instagram to share it and wrote “It’s not NOT a bop,” while tagging Swift. In her response, the ‘Shake it Off” songstress wrote back “Forever bending the knee to the 👑 of the north”. This comment clearly stated how much she admired her acting in the series. Thus, the two have remained connected for a long time and it was not something instant. With Swift helping Turner out, it seems like these two might just become the next Swift and Gomez.
