Taylor Swift helmed Eras Tour concert movie, which documents her journey throughout the concert of the same name, is shattering box office records held by tentpole franchises such as Star Wars and Marvel.
Well, on her way to becoming the undisputed singer who shook the box office, Taylor Swift has achieved humongous pre-sales numbers.

Taylor Swift started her Eras Tour across five continents amidst much fanfare and devotion from the ‘Swifties’. Across the globe, fans flocked in numbers to catch the singer taking over stadiums and stages as she sang a hit after hit. As such, the hype surrounding the movie is so high that it swung past Tom Holland’s Spiderman: No Way Home record at AMC presales in a mere three hours and in total by a whopping $10 million! In the 24 hours of being listed, Eras Tour crashed the AMC app, then set a record high of $26 million.
As reported by Deadline, in all presales listings across AMC, Regal, and Cinemark, the movie sang to $37 million! Well surpassing the record numbers set by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Additionally, with a runtime of 165 minutes, Eras Tour is setting the record straight for years to come. The movie, which lands on October 13, is a testament to the influence Taylor Swift has across the music industry. Notably, her ‘power’ was on full display recently when her motorcade swung past the streets of New Mexico.
Along with the movie, the entirety of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has been a phenomenal success and a sellout event.
