Recently, this shared connection was brought to light at one of the world’s greatest music festivals, the Soundstorm. And Will Smith shared a video to give his fans a peek into the electrifying performance that the pair delivered.

Witnessing the Smith family, home to some of the industry’s biggest talents, performing together is a truly rare and exceptional sight. However, Will Smith and Jaden Smith understood fans’ yearning and treated them to a rare performance as a duo at the 2023 Soundstorm Music Festival. Will Smith even shared the festival’s official account story that featured a clip of the father-son duo, rapping on the festival and contributing to its mission to revive and rejuvenate music.

Every year, Soundstorm hosts some of the biggest international stars on its platform in Binban, Riyadh. The event solely focuses on breathing new life into electronic music, deriving musical inspiration from all corners of the world. It is also popular as the loudest musical festival in the world, something that both the Smiths did complete justice to.

This marked his second stage appearance this month, where he just casually reminded everyone of the rap legend he used to be.

The Fresh Prince is back!

Before claiming the title of an Academy Award-winning actor, Will Smith was The Fresh Prince. As the Grammy celebrated the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, Will graced the stage with Jazzy Jeff. Questlove introduced the pair who were the first to clinch a Grammy in 1989 with ‘Parents Just Don’t Understand’. The duo performed a medley of both solo chart-toppers and collaborative classics that blew everyone’s mind, including Will Smith’s children. 

Will Smith shared a video on his Instagram handle, showcasing the reaction of his children, Jaden, Trey, and Willow Smith to the Grammy Performance. All three children brimmed with pride as they saw their father taking center stage on such a special day. Willow even shared how she and her brother screamed their lungs out upon seeing Will’s performance. With back-to-back musical showdowns, is it safe to say that The Fresh Prince is finally back!
