Will Smith, the Fresh Prince, has officially made his return to his musical roots. The rapper-turned-actor dropped new music with a completely fresh sound earlier this year, after being on hiatus since his 2017 EDM track 'Get Lit.' Not only is the four-time Grammy-winning rapper making a full-blown comeback to the rap world, with his first music album since 2005’s 'Lost and Found', but he is also collaborating with fellow musicians, like the Spanish singer and songwriter David Bisbal.

The duo recently teamed up for ‘The Car Test’ of Will Smith’s recently released track and, in the process, showcased how much they are fond of one another.

Anyone who knows a thing or two about music production understands the importance of ‘The Car Test’ to catch any issues with the overall mix. Will Smith recently teamed up with David Bisbal for this very reason on the track ‘Work of Art.’ As Bisbal showed off his vocal chops by freestyling in the middle of the track, Will Smith excitedly kept repeating in their YouTube video, "I need that! I need that!"

"You can consider this a call," said Smith while inviting Bisbal to join the remix for the album. The ‘Mi princesa’ singer, in turn, mentioned that spending time with the actor was already "a dream" come true. Last month, Smith dropped the debut single ‘Work of Art’ from his upcoming album, along with its music video. The track also featured Jaden Smith and singer Russ, who was also part of one of ‘The Car Test’ sessions.

During Smith and Russ’s car testing session, the former shared some tidbits about his upcoming album and how dedicated he has been to it.

Will Smith first teased this production in February alongside a group of artists. Later on, he and Russ put their track ‘Work of Art’ through ‘The Car Test’ and mentioned that he had just wrapped up his album. The I Am Legend star revealed that he has been holed up in the studio working on the album for the past year and a half. “I have a project that is the most personal and powerful music project I’ve ever done,” said the 55-year-old. He also dropped a hint about the possible album title by explaining the concept behind his music.

“The idea of the music is- Dance in your darkest moments,” said Will Smith, which could very well be the album title. There is also an Instagram page and a website in the works called "Dance in Your Darkest Moments", so all signs point to that being the name of the album. And after the recent car testing session with David Bisbal, it is looking like fans might soon see a musical collaboration between the two as well.
