In the latest trailer of the third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, released on April 24, the Prime Video teaser featured two Taylor Swift tracks. ‘Daylight’ from ‘Lover’ acts as the background music for a montage of Lola Tung and Gavin Casalegno, picking up from where season 2 hit pause. Although Christopher Britney is nowhere to be found in the trailer at first, he shows up right in the end and delivers the only line in the trailer, “Hey,” and the track transitions to Swift’s ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’.

For those uninitiated, The Summer I Turned Pretty is Jenny Han’s coming-of-age romantic drama based on her novel trilogy of the same name. The Prime Video series follows Lola Tung as Belly, Christopher Briney as Conrad, and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah, who form a modern-day love triangle unlike any other. However, this is not the first time the show has featured Taylor Swift’s music.
