As the Golden Globe Award ceremony kicked into motion yesterday, fans were scrambling for a peak of their favorite celebrities on the red carpet. However, what came later was far more interesting than the poses the A-listers struck for the camera. It was a behind-the-scenes moment between Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift that shone on tabloid headlines instead. When Gomez bent down to whisper something to her BFFs, Swift and Keleigh Sperry, onlookers became convinced that they were gossiping about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet.

Gomez has a response to these claims.

Those who came across the clip of Gomez speaking to her friends animatedly have been convinced that the conversation contained Chalamet’s name. Then, the internet filled up with speculations that she did. Now Pop Crave on X (previously Twitter) has revealed that Gomez has declared that she “did not say sh*t” and is “sick of” people saying so. 

According to Pop Crave, she is now asking everybody to “stop overanalyzing every damn move” she makes despite not knowing the full truth behind it. She felt that these allegations have been not only wrong but simply ridiculous! Well, the ‘Single Soon’ singer has made her stance clear on this drama. However, that was not the only thing that brought the spotlight to Swift and Gomez.

Another unpleasant moment that occurred at these two pop sensations’ table during the ceremony is making headlines too.

Taylor Swift was not impressed by this

During the ceremony, the host Jo Koy made a joke that soured Swift and Gomez’s experience of the night. He made a snide remark about how the ‘Style’ singer has received a lot of airtime recently due to her appearances at her boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s NFL games. This obviously did not sit well with Swift who did not as much as smile at the quip. 

Meanwhile, Gomez matched her bestie’s reaction with a grimace too. Considering how Swift’s beau recently supported her new relationship with Benny Blanco, it was a given that she would have Swift’s back over this minutely unkind remark. To put it short, Golden Globes 2024 was certainly quite the eventful night for these two ladies judging by these little conflicts they got into.
