While her involvement in the MCU still needs a green light from the makers, it looks like a veteran from the franchise has given his nod of approval and it is none other than Marvel’s very own iron cookie, Robert Downey Jr. 

A clip has been doing the rounds of X, formerly Twitter, featuring a recitation by Robert Downey Jr. In the video shared by The Swift Society, he could be seen orating Taylor Swift’s sensational track, ‘Blank Space’ with a straight face. It begins with the actor’s announcement of performing his own “rendition” of the track. Adding his touch of humor to the “beat poetry”, Downey Jr. intervened the read with exaggerated sounds, tell-all expressions, and prolonged shrills, finally ending it with a classic script flip. 

‘Blank Space’ is Taylor Swift’s third number-one single to reign in the top spot for the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was certified eight times platinum, becoming an easy win for her legends of success. Now, with Robert Downey Jr. contributing to it with his creative attention, there is no doubt that it became the megahit staple not only on the commoner’s playlist but also in the celebrities’ sphere. 

A sufficient proof that Swift did not emerge as the most streamed Spotify artist for New Year’s Day without a reason. But even better testament to the Swifties, because this means yet another shower of appreciation for the songstress.

Taylor Swift knows how to make the best out of her talent. And its touching prowess recognizes its space beyond the ordinary. The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer has already set foot in 2024 with strings of accolades and bling of conquest. Parading the roads of success and acknowledgment, Robert Downey Jr.’s clip came in like a cherry on top.

Many fans could not have imagined the crossover until now. And since now they have, most of them could watch their “worlds colliding”. Some acknowledged that they did not know that this was a ‘need’ till the clip started surfacing.
