Following years of wait, countless teasers, and multiple rumored release dates, when Playboi Carti finally dropped the hotly anticipated ‘I AM MUSIC,’ all the prayers were answered. Although unsurprisingly, his record lived up to its hype, ‘I AM MUSIC’ did more than just zero in on Carti’s skills. While quite the bigwigs of showbiz found their credits on ‘I AM MUSIC,’ whispers hint at a potential collaboration with the rising star, North West.

Having collaborated with Ye, formerly Kanye West, on multiple occasions, Carti now looks ready to climb the musical ladder with Kim Kardashian's daughter.

After the musical rollercoaster Playboi Carti unleashed with ‘I AM MUSIC,’ charts have not been the only place where he has become routine. Carti has found permanency on every social grid that matters, from tabloid mentions to showbiz shout-outs. However, Kim Kardashian recently took to her Instagram story to highlight a particular verse on Carti’s ‘Fine S---’ track, and he just reposted it, saying, “TELL MY NIECE NORTH SEND ME A SONG.” 

The verse in question reads, “I bought that -- a lot of clothes, but she love her SKIMS,” a line that appears to cheer the business mogul and the mother of four, Kardashian. However, the fact it followed with an unforeseen wish of what could be the collaboration of the year had the world waiting for the unknown. Yet, considering the fans had to master the art of a meditative mindset with the rollout of ‘I AM MUSIC,’ it remains to be seen what else it takes to get cues on the next step of this possible alliance.

For now, at least, Playboi Carti knows exactly what to keep his eyes out for and yes, it is the charts.

Playboi Carti may have gone back and forth on the release dates of ‘I AM MUSIC’ quite a few times. But it had no shortcomings in the fireworks of success that awaited the album. If anything, the wait made it all the sweeter. After conquering the Apple Music charts in the US, ‘I AM MUSIC’ secured the top spot on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global Chart, followed by a top 6 washout on another one.

‘Evil J0rdan,’ ‘Rather Lie,’ ‘Crush, ‘Mojo Jojo,’ ‘Pop Out,’ and ‘Philly’ make up the Top 6 Songs on Spotify’s Global Debut chart. ‘I AM MUSIC’ is also ranked #1 on Top Albums Debut USA. In fact, ‘Evil J0rdan’ is again at the apex of Spotify’s Top Songs Debut USA charts. While it has not even been a week since the release, Carti is making the most of his era,  making no mistake that he truly means music.
