"I'm so blown away"- Taylor Swift Couldn’t Stop Raving About Zoë Kravitz’s Directorial Debut, ‘Blink Twice’
Taylor Swift and Zoë Kravitz have a long history of standing by each other. Their friendship stretches back to at least 2016. That year, they were first seen sharing a meal in New York City with Swift’s popular star-studded squad. While some of the pop star's friendships have faded with time, hers and Kravitz’s have stood the test. Whether they are out on the town, enjoying quiet evenings in, or even watching Swift bring the house down during her Eras Tour- their bond has remained tight over the years.
As Kravitz’s recently made her directorial debut with Blink Twice, Swift decided to give a shout-out to her friend's latest stroke of genius.

Zoë Kravitz’s psychological thriller, Blink Twice, premiered this month. The X-Men actress has been deeply invested in this project since 2017. Following its theatrical release, Taylor Swift took to her Instagram to share a sweet message, praising her close friend for her "incredible" film, which also stars the actress's fiancé, Channing Tatum. “I'm so blown away by what she's accomplished here,” the pop star wrote.
Swift also highlighted how Kravitz not only directed and co-wrote the movie but also "conceptualized" and practically "obsessed over every detail". The 'Lover' singer also gave a nod to another friend, Sabrina Carpenter, for her "extraordinary" new album, 'Short 'N Sweet', while also encouraging her followers to "support" the 'Espresso' songstress. It seems Swift is all about cheering on her friends- except Blake Lively.

It is no secret that Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have shared a close, family-like bond. However, at a time when the actress is facing the storm of her career, the pop star has kept a low profile. Swift has openly promoted Ryan Reynolds for his Deadpool & Wolverine. But she has remained mum about It Ends With Us, despite Lively featuring her music in the film.
Swift also found herself in the middle of the recent controversies surrounding Lively, after some of the latter's troublesome interviews came to light. The Gossip Girl star was labeled a 'mean girl,' and fans threw shade at Swift for her close friendship with Lively. Whether Swift is trying to sidestep the heat from Lively’s issues or not, her support for Zoë Kravitz and Sabrina Carpenter is heartwarming to see.
