Furthering her achievements, she recently clinched TIME magazine’s Person of the Year. Just a day after the event, the media spotted Swift in the Big Apple, attending a screening for Emma Stone. However, she was not alone.

Taylor Swift made a fashion statement with an all-black ensemble at the screening of Emma Stone’s Poor Things in NYC. She chose a sleek black bodycon full-length dress and layered it with a plush furry coat. Swift added her signature red lips and a pair of black heels to complete the look for the night. Alongside her was David Greenbaum, President of Searchlight Pictures, the production house behind Swift’s directorial debut, All Too Well: The Short Film.

Taylor Swift became an award-winning director in 2023 for the short film starring the Stranger Things sensation, Sadie Sink and Dylan Rhodes O’Brien. Emma Stone, who is a dear friend of Swift, will be coming to the big screens with Poor Things on Friday, which is also produced by Searchlight Pictures. Therefore, Swift had more than one reason to attend the screening. In the TIME event, Swift also shared her love story with Travis Kelce and how it all began.

Following Swift’s São Paulo concert of Eras Tour, she took a flight to Kansas City to shack up with her beau for a few weeks. A week into the romantic getaway, she returned to NYC for TIME’s award. However, even in NYC, she made sure to give a shout-out to Kelce.

Following the exhilarating and demanding Eras tour, Swift took some time off in Kansas City with Kelce.

Swift is currently on a two-month break from the Eras Tour, which served as a perfect opportunity for them to spend some time together in Kelce’s $6 million mansion. A close source even told the Daily Mail that this would be a testing period for the couple, as they will finally get some one-on-one time with each other. However, considering her sudden arrival to NYC, there is a chance that their romantic staycation in Kelce’s mansion has come to an end.
