Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, may not have time or his billion-dollar-backed business by his side now, but he still has his legacy. Crowned as the greatest of all time at multiple occasions throughout rap history, Ye is still hailed for his musical prowess. However, as his recent albums failed to cause the same titanic waves, a shadow of doubt loomed over his legacy. Fortunately for the rapper, Gladiator himself has come to defend his honor.

As chants of Ye being washed down began to rise amidst his speculative retirement announcement, many began to question if the Grammy-winning rapper's ability to make people groove to his songs has now just become a legend. However, as the Gladiator II trailer dropped featuring 'No Church In The Wild' by Ye, Jay Z, and Frank Ocean, all doubts were laid to rest.

The Gladiator II has cleverly ticked every box that would warrant it to be named 'iconic' at every step. Firstly, its predecessor still has the audience waxing poetic about its brilliance. Secondly, it has brought back Ye in the biggest way possible. Moreover, the fact that it featured a track from the iconic collaboration of Ye and Jay Z from the album 'Watch the Throne', infusing power into its trailer.

Keeping in mind the above facts and more, it is no surprise that the Internet has gone absolutely feral after witnessing Ye, Jay Z, and Frank Ocean's voices in the Gladiator II trailer.

Gladiator II took the 'star-studded' phrase quite seriously as after adding Joseph Quinn, Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, and more to its list of actors, they proceeded to add Ye, Jay Z, and Frank Ocean to their musical credits. While fans are in awe of the entire trailer, Ye has stolen the spotlight solely through his vocals. The track 'No Church In The Wild' features what many fans describe as the essence of the old Ye. From the lyrics to his voice, and the entire persona that won him a Grammy year in and year out, the song "goes hard."

Many fans pointed out how Ye's music has been a recurrent theme in commercials as well as several other cinematic projects. Not to mention Ye himself is referenced in a lot of pop culture affairs such as his Jesus poster in the Netflix money maker, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. 

Reminiscing about the 'Watch the Throne' album, many fans took to once again declaring Ye supreme as they argued that Ye had carried the entire album, including Jay Z, on his back. Regardless of who carried who, the reminder of Ye's unmatched talent could not have come at a better time than now.
