However, this was not the case for Queen Beyonce, who grabbed everyone’s attention when she walked down the red carpet in her extravagant silver ensemble for her Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce’ premiere. While the movie might be based on her highest-grossing tour to date, fans, on the other hand, were busy making comparisons between her and Kim Kardashian.

The fashion world is vast, but it is impossible not to draw analogies between two major superstars in the midst of it all. This is exactly what happened when an X (previously Twitter) handle tweeted a photo of Beyonce’s most recent outfit. While the singer looked like a million bucks in her own right, the internet couldn’t help but compare her to another diva, Kim Kardashian. However, this was not the first time the two fashion superstars had been pitted against each other.

The entire comparison saga began in 2015, when the cosmetics mogul wore a sheer Roberto Cavalli gown with crystal embellishments to the Met Gala. While the costume was incredibly daring, it followed the same pattern as Beyonce’s Givenchy Met Gala gown from 2012. Not only was the attire comparable to the ‘Formation’ singer’s but so was the sleek hairdo with a ponytail. Given that neither of the ladies has directly responded to any of the rumors, it is possible that this is merely a coincidence.

When the photo was shared on X (previously Twitter), admirers flooded the comments section with questions about the two ladies’ resemblance.

Fans compare Beyonce’s Renaissance look to Kim Kardashian

Both ladies are celebrities in their own right. While the singer is a showstopper, the cosmetics mogul with a billion-dollar business is not far behind. While the audience is well aware of Kardashian’s efforts to build her brand, they cannot help but notice the number of times the TV personality has worn an outfit identical to that of the 42-year-old musician. However, in a role reversal, Beyonce was compared to Kardashian this time.

In the midst of admiring the singer’s attractiveness, one person added, “omg at first I thought it was Kim K.” Putting up her point of view that, from a distance, the dress resembled something Kim Kardashian would wear. Others agreed when another user said, “the way I thought this was Kim Kardashian at first glance.”

Some were deciphering the singer’s full ensemble when one user commented, “the whole look is very Kim coded actually.” This could be because the beauty mogul has been photographed wearing silver on several occasions. Furthermore, Beyonce’s blonde hair color is similar to the one  Kardashian had sported earlier.
