Are Fans Really Lined Up for 2 Days in London for Ariana Grande’s ‘Wicked’ Premiere? Here is the Truth
US fans have propelled homegrown artists like Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Kendrick Lamar to global fame. Through relentless support, American fans champion their idols, fostering a culture that transcends borders and inspires a global community. Fans' willingness to go the extra mile, even supposedly braving days-long queues, outside the States, shows it all. However, there is more to what meets the eye. With the internet often blurring fact and fiction, fans have stepped in as grassroots verifiers to set some things straight.
With Ariana Grande’s ticket going live for Wicked’s premiere, fans can feel the hype too, but not as much as you think. An X handle Buzzing Pop shared a video from an hour ago, showing fans waiting in long queues, supposedly for two days, to get Wicked’s screening tickets. However, fans on the ground disputed this claim. They explained the queue in London was merely for a sign-up sheet, followed by a wristband distribution the next day, ahead of Monday's premiere.

This clarification debunked the initial two-day wait narrative, providing online fans answers to all their questions about the ticketing process. According to Mashable, in tally with what the fans were referring to as ‘premiere screenings’, there are various early releases before it lands in theatres on November 22nd. Amazon Prime members can snag it to the film adaptation of Wicked as early as November 18 at 7 pm at select US theatres. Tickets are first-come, first-served.
Clearing the same, fans have laid bare the truth in the post's comments about the waiting period.
Fans debunk claims of waiting for days on end for Ariana Grande's Wicked tickets
Fans were determined to keep the records straight after claims circulated that they were waiting in line for two days straight for Wicked premiere tickets. They clarified that they were gathering information and receiving numbers tonight, followed by wristband distribution tomorrow, and then the actual premiere on Monday.
