Everyone more or less knows what is going down in Ye, formerly Kanye West’s world. Following his no-show on Playboi Carti’s ‘I AM MUSIC,’ and the Kim Kardashian link-up to bring North West on board on Carti’s musical journey, the Atlanta native’s X handle has transformed into a burning ground zero. Although his daggers have been relentless from day one, X turned even more explosive with the father of four slamming Carti and his ex-wife left and right.

Recently, however, the ‘Vultures’ rapper tried to set the record straight on what exactly set things in motion negatively. 

Ye recently shared a two-and-a-half-minute long video from his car on X with the caption “UPDATE,” zeroing in on his “therapeutic” sessions on the platform. According to the Atlanta-born rapper, he has been truly unaware of how many times people have crossed him because of his expressionism on social media—be it due to his support for Donald Trump or something entirely otherwise. However, what really set things off recently was Playboi Carti’s dropping him from ‘I AM MUSIC.’ 

Ye understands Carti’s standpoint, given the antisemitic tirades he has been in charge of lately. Then again, Carti’s going behind his back to hit up Kim Kardashian to materialize a North West collaboration may have been the nail in the coffin. Though the ‘Vultures’ artist remains clueless about what made Carti pull that dagger, ranging between speculations that he thought the album was “lit” or probably the assumption Ye would like it, it provoked his stance between the dichotomy of “celebrity and family.”

During his over 2-minute-long video recording shared on X, Ye was completely unaware of what and how the SKIMS bar made it to Playboi Carti’s ‘Fine S---,” pointing to the Instagram story that originally sparked the row of backlashes. While Ye does not exactly hold Carti responsible, it brings back the fighting tendency of the dichotomy he had when he belonged to the “Kardashian land.” The rapper reportedly went to mark his global footsteps and then to Japan so that he does not have to see all of that return.

Ye admits that if he were in that proximity, he would want to “fix it, change it, speak up, and say something” for his children. Although he confesses it was not exactly the best move on his part to share Chicago West’s picture on social media, Ye did not realize what was coming for him. The artist reportedly got a knock on the door from “familiar faces,” suggesting he sign himself for a retreat, only to realize he was being pushed to admit himself in a mental hospital.
