While Taylor Swift‘s life might be an enchanting fairytale, it recently took that dark turn. The singer might usually be in the spotlight for her music, but this time, it was because of a harrowing experience with an obsessed fan.

It is not surprising that celebrities have fans all over the world who adore them. However, some tend to lose their grip on reality and spiral to crazy points, like stalking.

Taylor Swift and other A-listers who have been stalked

Just hours ago, the news broke that a fan had tried to break into Taylor Swift’s house in New York City. Thankfully, the star’s neighbors had noticed and alerted the police to his odd behavior. While the singer was not at home, the unidentified man had tried the door to let himself into her house. Unfortunately, this was not the first time the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer has had an attempted break-in. In fact, some of her closest friends also went through the ordeal.

Before Taylor Swift’s recent brush with danger, the singer had already been stalked twice before. In 2022, there was a man was arrested for allegedly stalking the singer across multiple states. His name was Joshua Christian. While that might have been her scariest encounter with an obsessed fan, it was not her first. That happened back in 2019 when the ‘Ours’ singer was slowly taking over the world.

Once again, her New York house was almost broken into by a man named Roger Alvarado. Thankfully, he was swiftly arrested. However, it looks like her security concerns only increased after that. With so many fans acting out in such strange ways, it is no surprise that Swift takes so many precautions while she is performing or even stepping out with her friends.

While the singer’s incidents have been covered extensively, as they recently occurred, some celebrity accounts seem to have been forgotten.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez might be making her way back to the limelight. However, there is no doubt that the star will be weary this time around. Back in 2014, when she was at the peak of her fame, the Disney alum was stalked, not once, but twice by the same man. Che Cruz had been found breaking into the Wizards‘ star twice in one week. After the first attempt, he was served with a restraining order that he did not abide by.

In court, he pled not guilty, got out of prison, and decided to break into Gomez’s home once again. His behavior had resulted in the singer not only selling her mansion but also going off the grid to ensure her safety. Just like her bestie, Taylor Swift, it was not the only time she faced these issues. However, it was the one that freaked her out the most.

Rihanna

There is no doubt that the whole world has been obsessed with Rihanna. From her music to her hilarious personality, she has made it very easy for the world to love her. Unfortunately, some rather mentally unstable fans have taken things too far way too many times. While she has been stalked various times, fans have also stolen her cars and spent over 12 hours in her walk-in closet after breaking in.

Just last year, the singer was targeted by a stalker. He had traveled from South Carolina to Beverly Hills, in the hopes of getting married to the then soon-to-be mother of two. Thankfully, he was stopped by security before he got into her house. This incident came after another stalker, Eduardo Leon, was arrested in 2018 after he jumped a fence and broke into Rihanna’s home. He even waited 12 hours for the star to arrive before Rihanna’s assistant found him and called the cops.

The mom of two has been put through hell with the security breaches she has faced. However, there is only one incident that truly became nightmare fuel.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to the dark side of Hollywood. Although the reality star has taken many measures to keep herself and her family safe, it sometimes seems to fall in vain. From death threats and attempted break-ins to even odd gifts, the SKIMS mogul has found herself at the center of many twisted fan fantasies. The most recent took place in 2022 when a fan showed up at the 43-year-old’s Hidden Hills property.

Although it was a gated community, he managed to gain access and crept in until he was spotted by her security and stopped. Before that, she received death threats while she was dating Pete Davidson. The letters threatened to kidnap her four children with her ex-husband Kanye West. The worst encounter with people who stalked her was back in 2016. Kardashian ended up being held at gunpoint and robbed by a group of men, dressed as cops. That was the incident that visibly changed the television personality.
