Now, ruling as a solo artist, BLACKPINK's Lisa is ready to greet fans in a whole new avatar in The White Lotus.

While fans await to see what Lisa the actress has in store, Mike White, the mastermind behind the HBO show, has stepped forward to state just how brilliant the idol is, comparing her to the likes of iconic royalty, Princess Diana.

The White Lotus' upcoming season has naturally found itself surrounded by enormous jaws of expectations. Fortunately for Lisa, Mike White, while speaking to Time Magazine, reinstated that despite being fairly new to the acting world, she stunned him with his audition. As if the praise was not enough, he further added that she was like "Princess Diana" for the people of Thailand, ensuring to catch the audience's eye.

White's comparison of Lisa to Princess Diana probably stems from the sheer celebration of Lisa back in her home country. Owing to just how many stars she has added to the country's name on a global stage, the songstress is not just another starlet in the country. However, a more fitting comparison would be that she is the Taylor Swift of Thailand, owing to just how much of a crowd-puller she is.

The acting world is not the only one Lisa is looking to dominate this year, as she has an equally blockbuster deal prepared for fans of her music.

The past year saw BLACKPINK's Rosé rule all the charts along with Bruno Mars with their trending track 'APT' and now Lisa too seems to be looking at a similar chart domination. Lisa has collaborated with Doja Cat and Raye for a track titled 'Born Again'. The singer teased the drop on her Instagram while announcing the release date to be February 7.

Lisa has previously enjoyed international fame with her solo tracks. However, this is set to be her first big collaboration with western artists. It now remains to be seen if Lisa, master of synchronizing to every beat, will be able to catch two beats at once.
