Netflix finally shared the official trailer for the first part of Money Heist season 5.

Ever since we learned the release date of Money Heist’s new season, we’ve been waiting for new updates. From time to time, the crew shared some photos with us. Speaking of that, you can check out our compilation of all of the photos from Money Heist season 5.

Still, we were waiting for something more, namely, a trailer. Fortunately, Netflix finally shared the first trailer from Money Heist’s next season. The trailer shows us pretty similar things to the photos. Some heavy action is going on and we’ll probably see fewer mind games – but you never know it when it’s the Professor who we’re talking about. We see what awaits us in the first part of Money Heist season 5. Let’s break the trailer into pieces.

The trailer starts with the miserable situation of Tokyo, just having lost a dear friend and being trapped. After that, we see how Alicia Sierra finds where the Professor is. This time, Raquel’s call is answered by Sierra. Thus, the crew learns that the Professor is exposed. “The stormwater tank has been discovered,” says the Professor. “It’s possible this is the last time I’ll speak to all of you.” Still, I really doubt the Professor does not have any plan for this situation. However, Sierra throws him down with a chain around his neck, so we don’t know how the Professor will stay alive – if he does. We’ll see how the events twist.

After Sierra catches the Professor, law enforcement forces are more confident than ever. Coronel Tamayo orders its units to engage and the military prepares to go in, using all their power. Meanwhile, the crew inside seems hopeless upon learning about Professor’s situation. Raquel does not give up though, she motivates her team and says “We’re not going to end up in morgue.” The team arms itself and both sides wreak havoc. There’ll be a lot of action in Money Heist season 5 part 1.

We also see some flashbacks in Berlin’s life. It seems the crew does not want to leave the beloved character despite him dying. Fans are not opposed to this idea, too. So, we’re going to see more Berlin in Money Heist’s final season.

The first part of Money Heist season 5 will be released on Netflix on September 3rd, 2021. As the season is broken into two parts, we’re also going to see another batch of episodes. The second part will make its way to the platform on December 3rd, 2021, exactly three months after the release of the first part.

Each part will have five episodes, making the season have ten episodes in total. There are not going to be any more seasons of Money Heist after season 5. This new season will mark the end of the long-lasting run of Netflix’s popular Spanish thriller. Let’s hope they can give us a great finale living up to the expectations.
