Money Heist is a <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/category/originals/">Netflix original</a> Spanish drama that tells the story of a group of criminals brought together by a mastermind to pull off a great heist. The group tries to hit the Spanish Royal Mint, and the story takes great twists afterward. It debuted on the popular streaming platform in May 2017, and it&#8217;s been a sensation since. There are currently four seasons of Money Heist on Netflix, with the last one released in April 2020. The filming process of the fifth season has finally finished.

Money Heist&#8217;s professor previously <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/COdlzmwIv6Y/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> that his scenes were finished. We deduced from it that it should not be so long before Money Heist&#8217;s new season wraps up filming. That&#8217;s because Alvaro Morte is such a significant character for the show. The guess turned out to be correct, as the production process for Money Heist&#8216;s fifth season is finally over.
<h4>How many episodes are there going to be in Money Heist season 5?</h4>
The last season of Money Heist is going to have 10 episodes.
Some rumors hold that the fifth season is going to have more than 10 episodes. However, Netflix has yet to confirm that. On top of that, IMDb and Netflix Media Center show 10 episodes to be in the new season. So, the rumors are most probably false.
Season 5 is going to be the finale for Money Heist. We will not see any more seasons after it.

Netflix earlier announced that they were going to release Money Heist&#8216;s new season in the second half of 2021. Some reports told us the new season was going to be dropped in September 2021, but creator Alex Pina denied those. He said they were planning to release the season after September.
