Lupin part 2 official trailer dropped with June release date

Netflix shared the official trailer for Lupin part 2 along with the release date of the new set of episodes. Lupin is a Netflix original French mystery-thriller series that was released on the streaming platform in January 2021.

The first season is broken into two parts, and the first five episodes were initially released. Since then, fans have been waiting for the second part of Lupin’s first season. Back in March, Netflix shared a teaser that revealed a summer release. However, we did not know exactly when Netflix was going to release Lupin part 2. With the official trailer published now, Netflix revealed what awaits us in the new episodes, and the release date of them.

Lupin is about the story of a man named Assane Diop (played by Omar Sy) who is inspired by the master of disguise, Arsene Lupin. It tells of Diop’s quest to avenge a wealthy man who broke his family apart. The story is inspired by the works of Maurice Leblanc, who created the character Arsene Lupin.

Here’s Netflix’s description of Lupin’s first part:

“Inspired by the adventures of Arsène Lupin, gentleman thief Assane Diop sets out to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family.”
