Lucifer showrunner Joe Henderson appeared in an interview in which he talked about season 6 of the series. He also talked about season 5 part 2.

Lucifer has recently released the second part of its season 5, and the filming process for the sixth season has ended as well. The last entry for the long-standing series, Lucifer season 6 is going to be sweet and personal compared to the second part of the fifth season, which was big and epic, according to the show’s boss Joe Henderson. In an interview with Wordballoon, he talked about the upcoming season and compared it to season 5B.

While he compared to part 2 of the fifth season to the sixth season, Joe Henderson revealed that he loved them both in different ways. He explained this by indicating in what aspects the seasons were good. In addition, he also said those seasons are “part of the story going on,” despite being “so wildly different.”

“Season 5B is big and epic; season six is sweet and personal. I don’t even know how to compare them. They’re so wildly different, and yet so very much of a whole. They’re very much part of a story going on.”

Joe Henderson also talked about S5B individually and said there was going to be a cliffhanger for season 6, like in every good serial storytelling. He also said that that part will conclude the story of the fifth season. We’re going to have a pretty good reason to come back and watch the sixth season. Here’s what Joe Henderson had to say concerning about next season:

“Like any good serial storytelling, you’re going to want to come back for season six. We will give you a pretty good reason.”

Lucifer S5B is going to release on Netflix on May 28. The filming process for season 6, which is going to be the last one, ended at the end of March.
