The wait is over! We have a piece of good news. Bae Doona is all set to return to Hollywood for the film “Rebel Moon”. The cast of the Rebel Moon is star-studded, which includes Sofia Boutella, Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi, Sky Yang, Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, and Ray Fisher.

After the blockbuster hit of Netflix’s Army of the Dead, Director Zack Snyder is back with Rebel Moon. He is known for his exceptional works in ‘Man of Steel’, ‘Justice League, ‘Wonder Woman’, and ‘Aquaman’. He is going to co-write and direct the film, inspired by the great Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa and Star Wars film.

What Rebel Moon is about?

For a long time, Snyder has kept his fans at the edge of the seat. The plot of Rebel Moon explores a faraway space colony in the galaxy, which had been threatened by invaders led by Regent Balisarius. To save their colony, the residents of the planet decide to send out a soldier to seek help from other planets.

According to Deadline, the filming of Zack Snyder’s new film, Rebel Moon, will take place from April to November in 2022. 

In conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder explains, “This is me growing up as an Akira Kurosawa fan, a Star Wars fan. It’s my love of sci-fi and a giant adventure. My hope is that this also becomes a massive IP and a universe that can be built out.”

The release date of Rebel Moon is not official yet, and it might release in two parts.
