Netflix has shared JIVA! official trailer along with the release date for June 2021. What is the new series about?

The worldwide popular streaming platform continues to extend its huge library in June 2021 as well. There are lots of new movies in addition to returning TV series. One of the new series that is going to be on Netflix this June is JIVA!.

JIVA! is an upcoming Netflix Original series focusing on the story of a street dancer. The talented artist finds herself in a desperate struggle as she tries to make a decision between a job and her passion. Her love life, familial matters, and the problems of daily life are threatening the one way out: a dance competition with a great prize. Of course, the prize is straight cash.

Here’s the official JIVA! synopsis:

“A talented street dancer struggles while juggling the demands of a dead-end job, family responsibilities, and a rocky love life. When she discovers a dance competition with a cash prize, she realizes that her moves could be the ticket out of her working-class neighborhood in Durban. But first, she must overcome her fears, beat her rivals, and sort out the chaos that is her family.”

South-African drama and comedy series will be on Netflix at the end of June. The exact release date for the show is June 24, 2021. In addition to this Netflix Original, there will be two other movies and two returning TV series on the same day. Have a look at the upcoming shows on the service this week.
