While today is taking a dig at all the Instagram posts Kanye West has been making, the Netflix documentary jeen-yuhs takes us closer to the rising of the global star. The world today needs to recognize the stardom and achievements of Ye. And it looks like it has already begun as people are now crediting Kanye for the immense fame he has gathered for himself.

Viewers are witnessing some previously unseen footage in this documentary that has been in the making for the past 20 years. Ahead of Act Three’s release on February 23, 2020, entrepreneur Dame Dash sat down to have a conversation with blogger The Jasmine Brand. He talked about how he never really thought that Ye will become such a big name.

“I think this is the right time for that,” Dame told the Jasmine Brand. “’Cause you get insight into who Kanye is, especially because he’s so public. He’s turned into our new Michael Jackson, you know, whether that’s negative or positive, but that just is what it is. I wasn’t expecting all that from Kanye.” He elaborated how the world today keeps an eye on Ye’s every single move and it triggers them.

Dame also shed light on the fact that how Kanye was one of those rappers who always had the potential and, more importantly, he listened to the advice given to him. “He just really took the opportunity, and he really listened. And what he did was he leveraged his celebrity very well,” said Dash.
