Volodymyr Zelenskiy developed, produced, and performed in the political satire “Servant of the People” before being elected President of Ukraine in 2019.
The show is a Netflix series about a school teacher who is appointed the President after alleging that he will end the corruption in the country. The series ended in 2019 when Volodymyr expressed to run for President.
Servant Of The People set a record for channel 1+1 in Ukraine, and a feature film was filmed in addition to three seasons. On a wave of voter disgust with the previous rule and a campaign promising an end to the corruption that his imaginary creation likewise battles. Zelensky won by a landslide.
Is Servant of the people available on Netflix?
When the series started streaming, it was a Netflix production. And was available for streaming on the site till the last few years. However, the OTT website has removed Servant of the People for viewing since then.
Do not worry. It is available in different regions such as South Africa, Panama, and Pakistan. It is also available on Youtube, with some of its episodes receiving 14 million-plus views.
