She is accompanied by an institutionalized scientist named Walter Bishop and his strange yet highly intelligent son, Peter Bishop.

Abrams said in an interview that there would not be a reboot if Jeff Pinkner wasn’t there. In 2021, it is safe to say that the show is completely over and we will not get to watch a reboot series anytime soon.
