Ice Spice Stuns Fans as She Follows Taylor Swift to the Top of Billboard Charts
The Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef, although spicy, did not even touch the surface when it came to Ice Spice's side of things. The songstress who shot up during the past year and went on to collaborate with Taylor Swift while creating a good footing on the music charts found herself embroiled in double-edged controversies. While her not-so-personal love life is a whole different matter, her professional life, which is now represented by 'Y2K!'s position on the Billboard charts, is not looking good either.
With the album being only a week old yet, it may turn the tide later in the game. However, as of now 'Y2K!' is aiming for a Top 40 debut on the Billboard 200, a chart that Ice Spice has only had the privilege of witnessing the top spots. This diabolical fall from grace, despite being an artist that the Internet said had every ingredient to cook, has caught fans in utter surprise.

Spice's previous EP 'Like..?' which was also her debut EP, enjoyed the No.15 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, making way for more chart toppers. This was further escalated by her astute collaborations with prominent female artists, namely Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj, who went the extra mile by also supporting her as friends.
While Taylor Swift still seems to have rolled in her favor, it seems the young artist has gotten on the wrong side of Nicki Minaj and JT, making the 'Y2K!' chart prediction even more interesting for fans.
Ice Spice's 'Y2K!' chart prediction has fans raising eyebrows
For an artist who touched both the No. 4 and No.2 for 'Princess Diana' and 'Karma' remix respectively, to have her album debut with only 20K units in the first week, is a red indicator signaling that something has gone wrong. However, one look at the comments made it clear that the track list is not to be blamed. In fact, what the album contains is not even a matter of concern as most of have decided to pick sides, and clearly it is not Ice Spice's.
Fans in the comments did not hold back in stating that going against a veteran like Nicki Minaj, who matter-of-factly helped her with her career, was surely a bad idea.
