Jada Pinkett Smith gets close and personal in her chat with Nicki Minaj. The actress who has always been open about her family situation seems happy as she continues her talk show the Red Table Talk. After all the Oscar drama Will Smith is making recovery with appearances and interviews, while Mrs. Smith has let the incident pass quickly.

Red Table Talk which is on Facebook Watch Network is produced by the Smith couple’s production company, The Westbrook studios. So far big celebrities like Kelly Osbourne, Demi Moore, and Will Smith himself have been a part of the show. Though the episode with Nicki Minaj revealed a rather tender, warm yet sassy side of the boss rapper, and for the first time she opened up on motherhood and more.

What did Nicki Minaj say about the anxiety and surprises of motherhood with Jada Pinkett Smith?

For the world, Nicki Minaj is one of the best and most entertaining female rappers they ever saw. But life is way deeper and more relatable when it comes to the 39-year-old artist. On Red Table Talk Smith asked Minaj about the surprises of motherhood. The rapper was delighted pointing out how it was the first time someone asked her this question.

“First of all, being a mother is the biggest freaking blessing on planet earth”, said the excited artist. She talked about how her baby son was a reminder of her own childhood back in Trinidad. The Anaconda singer was only two years old when her parents left her for two whole years back in Trinidad.

Only to not recognize her mother years later, when she came back. Now that the singer is a mother herself, she has anxiety about being away from the baby for too long and feels very protective of him. She also talked about raising the baby during the pandemic, “I was afraid to bring people around him”. 

While Nicki Minaj shares photos of her son occasionally, she still maintains privacy and prefers to call him Papabear. She is married to Kenny Petty since 2019, with whom she had her baby son. Jada Smith was all smiles as she had been waiting to interview the rapper since the latter entered the motherhood phase of her life.
