But they will never forget prioritizing their family above all, despite everything that is happening. As reported by The Mirror, the couple is apparently preparing for a blast on the 4th of July, 2023, which is American independence day. The occasion is said to be closely associated with the pair as well. Not only as mere Americans, but the Duke and the Duchess have a special connection to this day. According to certain excerpts in the Duke’s memoir, Spare stated that they had gone on dates on the very same day earlier in the past. 

Not only do they have only romantic nostalgia for the date, but they have been celebrating the same in various different styles. Last summer, the couple spent the day with Markle’s pal Heather Dork. Together, they took delight in the Jackson Hole Valley on July 4th. In another instance, a year before the infamous Megxit, Meghan Markle made a casual appearance on the Independence Day of 2019 in a Wimbledon match.

The Wimbledon appearance holds a special significance in their history as it was just weeks after Meghan Markle welcomed her firstborn, Prince Archie. The new mom looked stunning at the Wimbledon games on July 4 in 2019 with two friends.

Having a good time with her friends, Markle watched Serena Williams play tennis at the iconic event. The two have shared some strong friendship ties over the years.  Rolling back to 2018, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended a Commonwealth Youth reception at Marlborough House. It came the day after July 4 and weeks after their Royal wedding. As reported by the outlet, Independence Day is a federal holiday in the United States, commemorating the Declaration of Independence.
