The famous podcast led by the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, was a revolutionary, award-winning one. Having various world-renowned artists on her podcast, Markle brought Archetypes podcast to the level where it is. From having extremely sensitive to thought-provoking topics to discuss, Markle and the other esteemed artists made some stirring remarks in each of the 12 episodes. However, the cold war between Prince Harry and Spotify bosses never came to an end. In fact, he thrashed down the Sussexes post-Spotify fallout, as their podcast came to a bitter end.

While the Archetypes podcast hit 10 million listeners, a serious dispute has broken out between the owners of Spotify and the Sussex couple. After two and a half years, the $25 million podcast deal has come to an end between Spotify and the Duke and Duchess. Following the two-and-a-half years that swept away awards for the deal, Bill Simmons called the pair “f*cking grifters“ before revealing that the podcaster apparently had a Zoom discussion with the duke about a podcast idea.

The pair has made 12 episodes, each being an hour since the signing of the deal with Spotify in 2020. Although the Duke did not have a single episode in the podcast, Spotify had placed a meeting between The Sports Guy and The Duke of Sussex. The Duke appeared on several podcasts during the football season and not in the Simmons podcast. As a result of which, the podcaster lost his temper and went on a blistering attack on the couple.

Having lost it against the Prince, Simmon went on venting how he has had “enough of this guy.” Further questioning the Duke’s credibility, he asked, “What does he bring to the table? He just whines about shit and keeps giving interviews. Who gives a sh*t?” Simmons also lashed out, stating no one cares about his life. And that he was not even “the favorite son.”

And it does not end there. Lambasting the Prince, he scoffed at how embarrassing it is to have him on their platform. “What does he do? What’s your talent? Why are we listening to you?” he said, taking a swipe at the Prince’s estrangement from the royal family. And just like that, Simmons spiraled into a never-ending fire rant mode against the duke.
