When Euphoria hit HBO in 2019, the show proved to be an alternate multiverse of a high-school drama, garnering critical acclaim far and wide. With stars like Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi at its forefront, the show’s popularity peaked with a second installment, leaving fans craving more. However, despite two consecutive seasons, the third installment has long undergone delays, doubts, and teasers until recently, when reports came in for its possible production this year. Yet, a sudden wave of setbacks harkened once again when HBO announced that the production for the third season would be postponed.

Shedding light on the same, Zendaya recently revealed whether Euphoria’s third season will actually fall into place during her film, Challengers’ premiere.

At the Challengers premiere on Tuesday in Los Angeles, Variety quizzed Zendaya about the most-asked question in recent while regarding the future of Euphoria’s third season. Addressing the same, the actress said, she is as much in the dark as her viewers since she is “not in charge” of whether the installment will materialize. However, like her fans, she has her hopes up because she informed, “If it’s right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course”.

Adding a nod of her skepticism, at last, she exclaimed further, “But it’s beyond me”. Not too long ago, when the greenlight for the third season came in, fans were over the moon in rejoicing. But, Variety claimed in March that the network and the creator of the show postponed the production of the same although persistent in their statement that they “remain committed to making an exceptional third season”. A few days later, when Storm Reid was questioned about the same, she maintained optimism. And now, with Zendaya echoing the same chants, all one can hope is for the production to begin as soon as possible.

At the premiere, however, Reid was yet again in the face of questions by the publication regarding the potential filming dates, and this is what she had to say.

During the Los Angeles premiere of Challengers, much of the attention shifted towards updates about Euphoria. Consequently, after questioning Zendaya about the potential third season, Variety directed the same inquiry to Storm Reid. Displaying unwavering confidence, the actress admitted she was unaware of when filming for the third installment might commence, but affirmed her desire for its realization. 

When pressed about her confidence in Euphoria's future, Reid asserted, "I'm putting out good vibes in the universe, and I am standing with all the confidence". Interestingly, the actor chanted similar words during her previous quiz about the same topic, leaving the audience all the more hopeful. While her assurance appeared to counteract lingering doubts about the show's return, the final hurdle remains the green light from the creators and the network to sustain that hope.
