Zack Snyder Reveals the Only DC Film He Ever Wants to Make and Henry Cavill Cannot Be in It

The filmmaker has always won the hearts of superhero fans with his larger-than-life cinematic settings and outrageous stories. More than that, the director is famed for bringing back the most well-known face in the fantasy genre, Henry Cavill. Further, the actor-director duo has made several wonderful films in which their teamwork has been widely praised. However, in the midst of this friendship, the director would not cast Cavill in this DC movie.

In a recent interview, the visionary director disclosed the title of the DC film he would like to direct if given the opportunity, and Cavill would not be a part of it.

Now that the dynamics in the new DCU have completely changed, the filmmaker revealed that if James Gunn brought him back into the DC universe, he would only be interested in making The Dark Knight Returns adaptation.

In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the director stated that if his “buddy (James Gunn)” calls him back, he would only want to do a realistic rendition of the Dark Knight Returns graphic novel. However, in the midst of all of this, the director is presently working on his upcoming Rebel Moon, which, based on the great praise the teaser has received, will be a well-liked film.
