In talks with Marie Claire, royal expert Christopher Andersen revealed that Markle stands poised on “becoming the next Oprah.”

The remarks are based on the fact that the former Suits actress still holds a “sizeable” audience to herself. Alongside her rapid inroads into Hollywood with Netflix shows and effortless fashion statements, Andersen does not think the possibility is “far-fetched.” “She certainly seems well-suited to that role in particular,” added the expert. The Duchess of Sussex is vocally articulate and often speaks up on matters related to women’s empowerment. Hence, a talk show career may help her establish a firm grip on the industry.

On the flip side, the many media deals and spotlight on her come much to the chagrin of royal households, especially Prince William.
