Hollywood faced its first industry-wide writers’ strike in more than 60 years and has been in full swing for weeks on end. All our favorite shows and their developments have come to a standstill and the OTT platforms have received the hit firsthand. The American streamer, Netflix too, had to put numerous ongoing productions and deals on a halt. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s multi-million dollar deal with the streamer could not escape the consequences either. Royal experts have thus assembled to weigh on where the Sussex deal might lead to, in the chaos and disruption.

Known for its rampant coverage of the Sussexes, Talk TV recently had its royal roundup graced by royal correspondent Rupert Bell. Given the continuous backlashes and controversies that followed the pair’s Netflix bombshell, the hosts, along with the royal expert, seemed to be happy about how the strike was supposedly affecting the strike. Rupert Bell weighed in on their current update stating, “Everything is on hold so they’ve got some commercial issues to resolve”.

He further stated that nothing is being produced at this moment. As the consequences of the strike, the Duke and the Duchess cannot give their thoughts and actions a perfect direction. Meanwhile, another expert who happened to be on the show passed a “naughty” remark saying, “Every cloud has a silver lining”. As they exchanged subtle laughs, the indication of the same remarks was quite understandable to the viewers.
