The absence of major characters Mike Ross and Rachel Zane played by Meghan Markle in Season 8 did change the entire landscape of Suits, leaving a noticeable void. The introduction of Samantha Wheeler, portrayed by Katherine Heigl, aimed to fill this gap but received mixed reactions, with some fans finding her character unlikable and disruptive to the established dynamics.

The season shifted focus to internal firm politics, which was mainly a power struggle between Harvey Specter and Samantha, something that most people felt was not as engaging as previous high-stakes legal battles. This change in direction brought criticisms of repetitive and overdone storylines, making the season feel like a step down from its predecessors.

8. Season 7

Season 7 was rather a changeover season for Suits, especially after the exit of Gina Torres as Jessica Pearson. Jessica's exit at the end of Season 6 left a noticeable void in the firm's leadership dynamics. Although she made occasional appearances, her absence was deeply felt. The season also witnessed the exit of some of the main characters, such as Mike Ross and Rachel Zane towards the end, which made the season feel like a transition.

The narrative focus here shifted towards personal storylines, including the evolving relationship between Harvey and Donna, which many fans felt did not grow organically as it had in previous seasons, making it feel different from the rhythm of the show that fans were used to.

7. Season 4

Season 4 of Suits is one of the most important chapters in the series, as it brings with it a lot of changes in character dynamics and firm operations. The season begins with Mike Ross leaving Pearson Specter to work as an investment banker, which sets up a corporate takeover battle between him and his former mentor, Harvey Specter.

While Season 4 is certainly not without some great moments, the focus on the personal storylines sometimes took away from the core legal drama that fans loved. However, the season adds to the greater story, and it lays out the groundwork for what is going to happen down the line, making it a sort of middle ground to the whole story.

6. Season 9

In its final bow, Suits delivered a season that felt both nostalgic and hurried. Ten episodes seemed too little for a season that was expected to end with a bang, making it come across as rushed, with some storylines very incomplete in the wrapping-up process. Gone were some of the long-standing characters on the show, whose absence made the firm feel like a shadow of its former self.

However, the Mike Ross return served as a rejuvenation of a bit of that original magic as the dynamic returned that fans enjoyed. Harvey's back-against-the-wall moments, Louis's wedding, and the spontaneous proposal to Donna provided a satisfying conclusion. Despite its imperfections, Season 9 managed to honor the legacy of Suits, reminding fans why they fell in love with the legal antics and personal dramas of the firm.

5. Season 3

Season 3 of Suits kicks off strong, with the firm merging with Darby, and introducing new challenges and rivalries. The season brought back the fan-favorite duo of Harvey and Ross as they continue to tackle complex cases with brilliant legal brains and unwavering loyalty toward each other. While some of the romantic subplots may have felt forced at times, the overall narrative proved to remain engaging.

4. Season 2

The stakes are higher, and the drama is intensified in Season 2 of Suits. Mike Ross is caught between keeping his secret or doing what is right. Harvey Specter has to confront the main challenge of the return of Daniel Hardman, who is trying to reclaim the firm. This power struggle between Harvey and Louis Litt adds a layer of tension, highlighting their competitive natures. The season goes deeper into the characters' complexities and sets a clear path for future events, making Season 2 a pivotal chapter in the Suits saga.

3. Season 6

Season 6 of Suits is a thrilling rollercoaster that kept viewers on the edge of their seats. The season kicks off, with Mike Ross serving a two-year prison sentence for his past fraudulent activities. His time behind bars is far from uneventful, as he faces challenges from fellow inmates and grapples with the consequences of his actions.

Meanwhile, back at Pearson Specter Litt, the firm is in turmoil. Jessica Pearson is hit with a $100 million class-action lawsuit, and the remaining partners, Harvey Specter and Louis Litt must find their way to keep the firm afloat. The season digs deep into the personal and professional lives of its characters. Season 6 is a great season that balances highly intense legal drama with personal drama, making it one of the most exciting seasons for the series.

2. Season 5

Season 5 of Suits is proof of the series's great storytelling abilities, masterfully bringing together personal achievements and high-stakes legal battles. The season began with Mike Ross and Rachel Zane's wedding, whose chemistry in Suits had fans swooning in awe! However, this joyful moment was soon overshadowed by the discovery of Mike's secret, leading to an exciting turn of events in the season.

The legal storm that follows takes the story to a new dimension as the characters are tested on their moral grounds and relationships, leading to exciting and intense storylines. In a nutshell, Season 5 holds the heart of Suits fans by bringing the perfect balance of legal tension, personal drama, and emotional moments, standing out as one of the highlights in the series.

1. Season 1

Back in 2011, when Suits came onto the scene, introducing the world to the dynamic duo of Harvey Specter played by Gabriel Macht and Mike Ross played by Patrick. J.
