In a recent interview with POPSUGAR, Sweeney speaks of her interest in cars and sports. Having previously spoken about how empowering fixing a car can be, she now reveals her love and knack for skiing. She shares her belief that “Women can do anything men can do, but in heels.” She dedicates this learning to her mother, who engaged her in all sorts of activities from the moment she “could walk.”
In the interview, she also reveals how she has become enamored with Pinterest. And unlike what one expects from a woman to use the platform for, she uses it for “finding inspiration” for her next car restoration project. Her fans may know how her TikTok account where she restored a Ford Bronco landed her a partnership deal with the car-manufacturing giant.
But did you know that even for her clothing collection with Ford, Sweeney took a unique approach by staying true to herself?
Sweeney establishes gender neutrality through her Ford Collection
After the spectacular job, Sweeney did at restoring her 1969 Ford Bronco, she was offered a deal by Ford to create an apparel line. Partnering with Dickies, she launched a line that includes overalls, work pants, a baseball cap, and a beautiful bandana.
