With Phenomenal As Ever Success, Meghan Markle Is Not Worried About Donald Trump’s Newly Imposed Tariffs

Meghan Markle is currently ruling the lifestyle scene with her business ventures. The release of her Netflix series, With Love. Meghan has established herself as a dependable figure you can take lifestyle advice from. Then the former Suits star took an even bigger step and boldly introduced her brand, As Ever to the world. Her labor of love and hard work was met with incredible success quickly and became one of the highly demanded brands in the field.

A new threat however, might loom large upon her in the form of a newly imposed tariff, but she has no worries about it.

What has recently happened is that the newly elected President Donald Trump, for his second term, would impose a 10% baseline tariff on all countries that are looking to import their goods to the US. But for now, Meghan Markle remains unaffected by it as all her products are getting manufactured domestically, keeping As Ever away from the impact of tariffs. Speaking to Fortune, she shared, "we don’t anticipate tariffs affecting us directly."

The announcement about tariffs was made by the White House on the same day as Meghan Markle relaunched her brand, April 2. On the day of its launch, As Ever announced that they will be shipping out the orders to all 50 states of America, though they do plan on expanding their radar and making the shipping international.

Markle's insights and consideration were greatly rewarded as instantly upon the launch, the collection of eight products sold out in under an hour. She has brought her smart business skills in effect while being mindful of the consumers.

Talking further to Fortune, Meghan Markle explained how she has made her products keeping in mind the economically tough times when people still want to find "creature comforts" that could "bring them joy." Markle feels that when she looks at the larger context of how her brand is going to affect the consumer day to day, she is grateful that it is conceptualized in the essence of As Ever.

The products include a delightful and soothing collection of crepe mix, raspberry spread, herbal tea assortment, wildflower honey with honeycomb, shortbread cookie mix with flower sprinkles, and flower sprinkles, which cost between $12 and $28. However, as long as manufacturing continues in the US, Meghan Markle will have no worries about her country’s tariff rates.
