Kindergarten Cop was a project that Arnold Schwarzenegger thoroughly enjoyed working on from beginning to end. It was a change for him to play a role that deviated from his usual action-hero image. It also helped him play a genre that he least expected: comedy. The movie blended thoroughly the elements of action and comedy that served as a treat to both Schwarzenegger and the audience. However, the now 76-year-old reveals that he is more content knowing that the spotlight was not on him but on his adorable little co-stars!

In an interview with Hollywood Outbreak in 1990, Schwarzenegger recalled how he genuinely loved going to the Kindergarten set. He commended the child actors who shared the screen with him in the film, describing them as “fantastic” and “very professional.”

The Terminator star expressed delight in seeing these young talents shine brighter than himself in the movie, emphasizing that being outshone by them didn’t bother him at all. Rather, he has even gone on record to say that filming Kindergarten Cop with his little buddies felt like “being in heaven.”

Schwarzenegger is not averse to shedding light on a softer side of his personality. He has self-reliant kids and an army of adorable pets too that he shares his love with.

Additionally, Schwarzenegger takes pride in being the father of five human children too! Katherine, Christina, Patrick, Christopher, and Joseph are his offspring. Schwarzenegger has managed to maintain amicable ties with all of his kids while supporting them wholeheartedly in their pursuits. Schwarzenegger often expresses pride in their accomplishments while cherishing every opportunity he gets to spend quality time with them.
